Hawaii Web Design

Hey Guys!

RK Castillo here from SEO Web Design Hawaii

Today I want to talk to you about getting a Web Site Designed the proper way at  the most affordable price.

When it comes to websites there are a million different options you can take to getting your site created and launched.

You can go the Free route and find a free website out there in the interwebs.

Or you can go the paid route and pay a web design company to design a site for you.

The problem with Free sites is you get what you paid for.  A lot of times it ends up being worse in the end because your site is filled with advertising from the company that is hosting that “Free Site” and that ends up sending people who visit your website off to another web site, probably your competitor’s site, and you lose business.

With paying a company to create a site for you I’ve seen many companies that have paid in the thousands of dollars to get a site created and once it’s launched it stays out there in cyberspace with no one visiting it.

So that’s why I want to talk about getting a web site designed the “proper” way at the most affordable price.

By proper I mean a website that looks good, that gets found on the first page of Google, and gets those visitors to contact you ready to take an action.

In our company we prefer to create all of our sites on the Content Management System known as WordPress.

We use WordPress for a couple reasons

1. Google has admitted (without admitting) that they like wordpress sites.

Why?  Because wordpress is a system that creates blog type sites.  Google likes content.  It’s what they want.  So creating your site on a “blog type” of system tells them you will probably be creating a lot of content.  Which means they will rank you higher.

I’ve even seen blank wordpress sites ranking on the 1st page of Google.

2. We can make a wordpress site look anyway we want to.

And if we want to change something, all of the content will stay the same.  Just the look and feel will change.

3. WordPress has a thing called Plugins.

WordPress gives you the ability to add what they call plugins.  With Plugins, the world is your oyster.  You can basically make your website do almost anything with a plugin.

For example, right now Facebook is really popular.  Facebook has given us the ability to put a Facebook Like button on our websites.  When someone clicks that button it puts a link on their Wall that says “I Like www.YourSite.com”

If you have a normal html site.  YOu will have to go add that code to every single page by hand.

With wordpress, I just add a plugin and it’s on every single page.

Track, Track & Track Some More

Have you ever heard the saying “You can’t grow what you can’t measure?”

When creating a web site the proper way, you want to be able to test and track where your visitors are coming from, how long they are staying on your site, what pages they are visiting on your site, etc.

Because if you want your website to not just look pretty but to get your more leads and customers; you need to be optimizing your site for your visitors.

You can’t know this without setting up Analytics on your site.

Time and Time again we’ve seen nice fancy websites that have no tracking on them so they have no idea how many people are visiting their site a month, etc.

This is really essential for growing your business and most business owners aren’t doing it.

Making The Search Engines Love Your Site

Our slogan is “We’ll Make the Search Engines Love You”

We do that by properly optimizing your site for the Search Engines.

There are basically 4 things you need on every page of your site to make Google love your site.

In fact, we changed just 1 of these 4 things on one company’s site and the site jumped up 50 spots in the Search Engine overnight!

But to find out these 4 things you need to give me a call at 808-295-0993 and set up your Free Strategy Session where I show you your “Online Marketing Blueprint”.  You wouldn’t build a house without a blueprint and you shouldn’t design a website without a blueprint as well.

Look forward to talking with you.
